Hey guys!!!

So, I had quite a day. I spent it with my crush. And we nearly kissed a million times! Honestly, I really wish we did! Like it was nose touching, forehead touching, lip licking, waist grabbing, and all that jazz but we still didn't freaking kiss! Oh the frustration. And the look on his face! His eyes staring at my lips as he bent down and our foreheads touched and he'd tilt his head a little to the left so our noses would bump and lean in until there was a centimeter of space left between our lips. But that's the most that ever happened.

One time we nearly did kiss. Like our lips were just about to meet but I kinda flinched which caused him to pull back. Uhh I wish I didn't flinch. What do u think? I really shouldn't have flinched should I?

He was playing COD with my brotherand every time he'd get upset, he'd turn to me, grunt and grab my face. He'd just rest his forehead against mine and just stare into my eyes. And he'd calm down as I patted his head and whispered that it'd be okay. And when he'd win, he'd get so excited, jumping and screaming and then he'd lean over and nearly kiss me but pull away right at the end whilst I cheer him on this whole time.

At one point, he stole my phone and whilst I was trying to get it back we somehow ended up kinda dancing. Like my arms were around his neck, his around my waist and he'd spin me around and I just thought that it was so cute. 

Anyways I was telling my friend about all of this, and she came up with a ship name for us... Salipe. It's because I'm Samantha and he's Felipe so Salipe. Get it? Get it? Aren't we just hilarious? :P Jk, I know we're not.

Musical Monday #12

Hey guys!

So, it's Monday. It's my least favorite day of the week. What about you? Anyways, since it's Monday, you know what that means! It's Musical Monday! Yay! So today's song is, I'll Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab For Cutie.

I love this song, because it's just precious and I wish that someone would feel that way about me. It is quite a depressing song, but I still love it.

My Top 10 Favorite Romantic Songs

Hey guys!

Through out my life, I've heard several adorably romantic songs. I know plenty of you have probably heard more, since I've only lived 14 years (though that feels like an incredibly long time - though it isn't really). Nevertheless, I've heard so many romantic songs that I thought I'd make a list of my top 10 favorite romantic songs. It's just my personal opinion. Some people might not even find all these songs romantic, but I do.


1. You Are My Sunshine by Jimmie Davis

I don't know why but I've always found this song very romantic... Is that weird? Honestly, sometimes I'll just sing myself to sleep with this song. I'm not sure if Jimmie Davis sang the original or not, but it's the closest I could get to the original.

2. Tonight You Belong To Me by Patience and Prudence
If you read my previous post, I am obsessed with this song. There's just something about it that I love. It makes me kind of sad though...

3. Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Frank Sinatra
I didn't expect to have this much Frank Sinatra in this list, but oh well. I love this song. It was my aunt and uncle's first dance at their wedding. After that I was like, "Oh my gosh, Frank Sinatra. Frank Sinatra. Frank Sinatra!" So yeah, this got me all into his music. Isn't it fabulous though?!

4. Love Me Tender by Elvis Presley

I love this song. I'm not a big Elvis fan but I do love some of his songs like this one. I originally found out about this song from my music class and after that I became obsessed over it.

5. So Close by Jon McLaughlin
For those of you Disnerds, you should know this. This is the song from Enchanted that Giselle and Robert danced to at the ball. Don't you think it's wonderful? It'd be a nice song for prom actually.

6. The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra
I love Frank Sinatra. I have no idea. There's something about his music that I just love. Especially in mornings. His voice is magical. For those nice cool mornings, listening to his music is just the best.

7. I Can't Stop Loving You by Frank Sinatra
Another fabulous song by the fabulous Frank Sinatra. You can't deny that this is amazing.

8. Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley
Here's another Elvis song that I'm in love with.

9. Kiss Me Quick by Elvis Presley
One more Elvis. Aside for the ones above I can only think of one more song by him.. It's kinda sad since he's actually not that bad. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to leave them in the comment! :) Anyways, you have to admit this is an amazing song! I love it. Normally I don't like happy songs, but I love this song even though it's upbeat and all.

10. SOS by Abba
I love Abba. Honestly they're one of my favorite bands! ^_^ I became obsessed with them after the movie Mamma Mia! This was one of my favorite songs, and it still is.

There are so many more amazing songs but for some reason I only decided to put 10 in. Oh well. If it were longer, the next song would have been Asleep by The Smiths. Anyways see you soon!

Tonight You Belong To Me

Hey guys!

Do any of you guys watch Bunheads? I love that TV show! It's about ballerinas. If you don't already watch it, I highly suggest that you start watching it. It's on ABC Family.

Also, do you guys know the song Tonight You Belong To Me? It's an old song. It's super sweet! I love that song. I love old music in general, because of all the history that comes along with it. They usually tell so many beautiful and amazing tales. Anyways, back to Tonight You Belong To Me... It's quite a popular song and there have been several covers made, in TV shows, by actresses/actors, singers, YouTube stars, and "normal" people. Zooey Deschanel sang a cover, which you can look up on YouTube. Anyways back to my main point, on one of the episodes of Bunheads, the main character Michelle and her brother does a cover of the song. That cover is by far my favorite. I've embed a YouTube video of the cover by Michelle and her brother - it's not in the best quality, but it's the best that I could find.

Now, here is a video of the original version of the song. I really love the original as well.

This song honestly for some reason makes me kinda sad... I don't know why.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hey!

Ok for some reason this wouldn't post yesterday, but this is what I wanted to say.

So it is the fabulous Valentine's Day or for single people like me, single awareness day, or just another reminder that you're single and don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Though I don't look at Valentine's Day like that actually. Some people do, I don't. I love Valentine's Day. I love love so obviously I love a day which is so completely and utterly about love. Even though ita mainly for romance love, you could always just celebrate with a family member or friend. :)

Anyways, I just wanted to wish you all a happy Valentine's Day. Love you guys!
