Leaving My Cats Behind For The Summer
Hey guys!
So as you all know, it's summer vacation! I'm off to the states for this summer. I'll be there for 2 months. This is the longest I'll be away for my cats and it's honestly quite nerve wrecking. There are no pet hotels in Sudan, all my friends are travelling so they can't watch my cats, and taking them with us to the US is out of the question.
Instead, my maid will be taking care of them. She'll come over every single day to feed them and clean the kitty litter as well as her normal work. She'll make sure everything is okay. We'll also have our guards look after them if need be.
The reason we refuse to take them to the United States with us is because they'll be stuck in quarantine for a whole month before I get to be with them. They'll probably be issues with housing - my grandparents aren't fond of pets and we're staying at their place. Also, we'll have to deal with giving them a check up, shots and everything. I mean yes they're all good with their vaccines but they'll still have to do a check up and whatever vaccine the US might require. It'll be really expensive and tedious. Not to mention, something could happen to them before we get to the US, on the way, in a layover, when we arrive, on our way back home, etc. There are endless possibilities, and it's just better to leave them here no matter how much I'll miss them. Also, costs of it all is ridiculous.

10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week
1. Game of Thrones
I am officially caught up on Game of Thrones. WHO HERE SAW THE NEWEST EPISODE?!
2. SCHOOL'S OUT!
What time's it? Summer time! It's our vacation!
Okay, okay. I know. Old joke. Oldie but goodie? Or not. I don't know. I loved High School Musical okay?! Anyways, we had our last day of school on Thursday which is kinda depressing but it was fun.
3. Poetry Competition?
Okay, sounds boring right? It was actually really fun because our houses got really competitive with who could cheer most. Well truth is, it was only two houses. Lions and Crocodiles - I'm a Croc. And no it isn't Gryffindor and Slytherin sadly. Nope, it's Hufflepuff and Slytherin. I know, that'd be amusing as. xD But seriously, I had so much fun cheering. I didn't think cheering was fun until then.
4. Ice Cream!
So, I went out for ice cream with two of my friends and it was honestly, kinda boring, but I was just happy to have ice cream. xD
5. Girls Night
I had two of my girlfriends over, as a last night sort of thing (it was supposed to be 3 but one got sick) seeing as one is moving. :( It was really fun though. We didn't sleep. That kinda sucked for one of them seeing as she had school the next morning. xD I went to bed when she left.
6. Tea <3
So if you read my May Favorites post, you'd know that I have grown completely obsessed continued my obsession with iced tea. I've also really been loving hot tea. I just really like tea and I've had a lot of tea this week.
7. Ozone
So Ozone is this restaurant here in Sudan and I went with my friend and it was actually fun. Well, being with her was fun.
8. Cedars
Another restaurant in Sudan that I went with my friend.
9. Facetime
So I facetimed my entire American family. I haven't seen them in like 2 years you guys! Isn't that insane?! I get to see them in person soon though. <3
10. The Violet Hour
It's a book tour I'm apart of. I finished reading the book this week. You'll hear all about it when I post my post for it.

Hey guys!
I saw this over at Becoming Adorable and thought I should do it too. I mean, I always see monthly beauty favorites and I always wanted to do them, but I don't get new make up every month and so I never did it. I don't know why it never occurred to me to do an overall favorites post. Whatevs, better late than never right?

2015 Bucket List Update
Hey guys!
I know I never actually made a blog post about my 2015 bucket list, but you can access that here. I realize some of these goals are ridiculous, but whatever. A girl can dream right? :)
Anyways, here are the ones that have been completed so far!
#34: Do something that scares me
Well... I admitted to my crush that I like him finally. It was literally just the other day actually. xD It was all pointless though. :(
#47: Give blind-folded makeovers with someone
My friend and I had a sleepover one night, and we were so bored so we decided we might as well. :P It was hilarious.
#58: Eat a whole tub of ice cream
*a few
Hahaha. No seriously, I've had quite a few entire tubs. This is why #11 and #12 are never coming true. xP
#70: Apply for a scholarship
I applied for a scholarship for the precollege program at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I don't know if I've gotten it yet though. I'll find out in early June.
#72: Finish my IGCSEs
So as many of you know, I only did the second year of the IGCSEs so taking the exams were majorly stressful. I've finished taking all of my exams though thankfully! Now I just need to wait to receive my results. I know I didn't do well in physics though sadly. :/
If you guys have any suggestions for more bucket list ideas please feel free to leave them as a comment! I'll be posting about my summer bucket list soon.
